New Delhi: Construction work on a new concrete house on a highway in the capital will begin this month and will be completed by 2019, the government said on Tuesday.
The concrete house has been under construction since July last year and has been undergoing extensive work, said an official of the Department of Urban Development (DUD) who did not wish to be identified.
The house, which has been named after the Delhi district where the concrete pavers came from, has been constructed with an initial cost of Rs 15 crore.
This includes the construction of the foundation, which cost Rs 10 crore.
The building is to be completed with the support of private sector partners.
